"I really am so speechless," she said, saying she remembered thinking that it looked "so f---ing easy" when Kate Winslet won the award. Luckily, the Academy was ready with a profanity delay on the airing.

Melissa Leo Wins Best Supporting Actress at the 83rd Academy Awards

Just three years after being nominated for her first Oscar, Melissa Leo has won, taking home the statue for her work in The Fighter.

Leo was nominated in 2008 for her work in Frozen River, but it was her turn as brassy Boston mother Alice Ward that truly won over critics. Leo had already won the Golden Globe and Broadcast Film Critics award this season.

Holding her trophy, the 50-year-old Leo thanked presenter Kirk Douglas. Leo said she was "shaking in her boots" as she accepted the award. She thanked her co-stars in the movie and her family before doing her best to hold herself together. "I really am so speechless," she said before unleashing some edited-out profanities.

She stumbled through the rest of her speech before thanking the Academy "because it's about selling motion pictures, and respecting the work."

Melissa Leo Apologizes Backstage for her F-Bomb

So the big "Oops" moment at last night's Academy Awards was when Melissa Leo said the F-word (Gasp!) during her acceptance speech for Best Supporting Actress.

But right when she got off stage, The Fighter star was already doing damage control. "Those words, I apologize to anyone that they offend. There's a great deal of the English language that is in my vernacular," she said in the backstage press room. "I really don't mean to offend, and probably a very inappropriate place to use that particular word."

Jennifer Aniston is 'Strict' with Other People's Children

Jennifer Aniston – who is godmother to her former Friends co-star Courteney Cox’s six-year-old daughter Coco – is not afraid to tell off kids if they have done something wrong.
She said: “I get strict with my goddaughter and I get strict with other people’s kids.”

Her Just Go With It co-star Adam Sandler also thinks Jennifer – who has been in relationships with Brad Pitt, John Mayer and Vince Vaughn – would be a hard parent, but is “very sweet” with his four-year-old daughter Sadie.

Asked what she would be like, he said: “Stricter than me … but loving. She is very sweet to my kids. This morning Sadie kept asking, ‘Where is Jennifer Aniston? Where is Jennifer Aniston?’"

Jennifer added: “Oh I love them, I was so happy to finally get the love from Sadie… It was just patience and finally I got it. She couldn’t get enough of me, I got hugs and everything.”

Jennifer recently revealed she was in touch with all of her ex-partners and enjoys seeing them on occasions.

She said: “I keep in touch with them. I have no animosity towards any of them. I think if you let the proper time go by, you should. You spent quality time together and meant something to one another. It's not like somebody died - you're all still on the planet!"

Lindsay Lohan Willing to Agree to Plea Deal in Theft Case

Lindsay Lohan was charged with felony grand theft yesterday after she allegedly walked out of the upmarket boutique Kamofie & Company wearing a $2,500 necklace. Though her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley is confident she can defend the case, she says her client wants to avoid jail and be able to move on with her life, so she may agree to a plea deal.

The lawyer told CNN: "Ms. Lohan maintains her innocence, and now that I've seen the police reports, I believe the case is entirely defensible.

"Having said that, we will entertain a discussion concerning a plea if it means no jail so that she can move forward with her recovery and her career."

Police reports into the incident have revealed Lindsay -- who is currently on probation stemming from a 2007 driving under the influence conviction -- had almost walked out of the store days earlier still wearing an earring that she had tried on. Sources have suggested her actions could prove she didn’t deliberately leave wearing the necklace but is simply absent-minded.

The actress pleaded not guilty to the offense in court, with pals insisting she was told by the store she could borrow the accessory, only for them to change their mind when she failed to get them publicity.

Kim Kardashian Had a Last-Minute 'Fashion Emergency' with Her Grammy Dress

Kim Kardashian hasn't launched her music career quite yet, but the future songstress will be present at the biggest night in music, the Grammy Awards, Sunday night now that her dress disaster has been remedied.

Kim tweeted today, a day before the big show: "I'm freaking out! Having a fashion emergency with my Grammy dress! KaufmanFranco came to my rescue!!!"

Shortly after, she wrote that everything had been fixed. Whew! "I can't believe KaufmanFranco fixed my dress! I can't wait for u all to see it! Its so stunning!" she wrote.

We can only wonder what her "emergency" was (a broken zipper? stain? snag?), but we're sure glad it was fixed in time for her to walk the red carpet at the Staples Center tomorrow afternoon.

Kim is currently in New York City, where she unveiled her new KDash clothing line with sister Kourtney last night, so we imagine she'll be back on a plane today in order to get back to LA in time for all the primping necessary for a Grammy appearance.

Kim Kardashian Praises Old BFF Paris Hilton

Kim Kardashian really rode Paris Hilton’s coattails to fame — and with the help from a “leaked” sex tape, she became a household name. You can see in the picture above, that they were pretty much inseparable on the party scene back in 2006. What you can also see in the above photo is Kim’s old face. May it rest in peace.

Now, in a new interview, Kim is addressing the whole Paris thing. She said, “We had so much fun. I had never traveled the world like that. It was so neat, all the things we did. I think I learned a lot from her.”

Now that they’re not close at all, she says, “We don’t really talk. As I always say, everyone comes into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. And she was in my life for a long time. There comes a point in life where you just grow apart and you realize you’re not as similar as you thought. And I never run into her anywhere. Isn’t that so weird?”

So Kim’s saying that she’s getting VIP access to all the trendy clubs and Paris is left out in the cold? Umm, I hate to defend Paris in any situation, but she could probably buy and sell the entire Kardashian family and not bat a lash.

Mila Kunis Will 'Never Dance Again'

Mila Kunis had some of the most intense workouts of her life while preparing to play a ballerina in Black Swan, and now the actress says she'll never do it again. She thought high heels were bad until she tried on pointe shoes, and she doesn't want to go through the agony again.

She said: “I had never danced in my life. I trained for four months, seven days a week, five hours a day. I had one day off on my birthday. I lost 20 pounds. I tore a ligament. I dislocated my shoulder. I have two scars on my back. And it was worth every minute. But I will never dance again…"

"I was like, ‘Well - I wear heels; I can do this.’ I was wrong. Christian Louboutins are uncomfortable, but I screamed the first time I put on a pointe shoe. It’s great that the performance has been captured on film, because I will never put on those pointe shoes again.” 


Despite her pain, Mila, 27, was pleased with herself when she watched her performance in the film. She told the March edition of W magazine: “Before I started, I couldn’t even lift my arm properly. I literally had no posture, so, yeah, the first time I saw the movie, my jaw dropped. I was like, ‘Oh, my God - I don’t suck.’ ”

Jennifer Aniston Parties With Celebs at Pre-Super Bowl Dinner

Why should the Super Bowl just be about football? For celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, it meant schmoozing with other big-timers over the weekend.

Aniston enjoyed dinner at the Dallas hotspot Al Biernat's with a large group of stars including Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez. "It was a zoo in here," Brad Fuller, the restaurant's general manager, told People. "People were wanting to get a look once word got out that they were all here."

Aniston, who showed up with Just Go with It co-star Adam Sandler, also spent time with employees of Sony Pictures and her private security team. "She seemed super nice and seemed to be enjoying herself. They were mixing it up and having a lot of fun," Fuller added.

The star-studded restaurant was so packed that the manager had to do the unimaginable: turn down a reservation request from Diddy!

Jennifer Aniston: ‘I Don’t Hate Angelina Jolie’

Despite the constant rumours of a brutal feud, Jennifer Aniston says she doesn’t hate Angelina Jolie.

Their reported hate for one another has filled the pages of gossip magazines since 2005 – when Brad Pitt began dating Jolie. Aniston, however, claims all that is behind them.

The 41-year-old actress was asked point blank by celebrity blogger Perez Hilton about her feelings towards Jolie.

Aniston replied, “Look, that was so long ago, and we’ve moved on and we’re all adults.”

Hilton spoke to Life and Style magazine about his encounter with Aniston and claims he believes she is genuine in that she’s moved on, “I believe what she has to say. I think she really has moved on.”

Aniston also told Hilton she is still in contact with Pitt, six years on after their marriage breakup, “I still talk to Brad and everything’s fine.”

Hilton said Aniston also cleared up the misconception that she is lonely, saying that those who believe that have it wrong.

“She told me that she dates a lot and just makes sure not to go anywhere public,” he said.

The former Friends star recently spoke about her personal life in an interview with People magazine, telling her fans not to worry about her, because she is “really happy”.

She said: “I think people honestly just want to see me as a mom and married and barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen. And I just want to say, ‘Everybody, relax! It’s going to happen’.”

It’s nice to see Jen clearing up these rumours, and even nicer to hear that she truly is happy.

Megan Fox Posts Childhood Photos, Claims: 'I Look Like Steve Buscemi'

In case it was unclear, Megan Fox is fully capabale of poking fun at herself. The former Transformers star took to Facebook on Sunday where she caused a stir by posting a couple of pictures from her childhood under the heading, "i look like Steve Buscemi."

The pictures, which were posted on her official fanpage, show the famously beautiful brunette as a toddler with a sippy cup. While fans were supportive of the actress' baby pics, she clearly didn't think she looked quite as cute back then. After all, Steve Buscemi (who recently won a Golden Globe and a SAG award for his portrayal of Nucky Thompson on Boardwalk Empire) is still remembered by many as the "funny lookin' guy" from Fargo.

This isn't the first time Megan has portrayed herself as less than perfect. She once revealed that her least-favorite feature is her thumbs, which are disproportionately short due to a condition called brachydactyly, or clubbed thumb.

Jennifer Lopez Will Watch the Super Bowl at the White House

Jennifer Lopez isn't going to the Super Bowl this weekend, but she'll still have one of the coolest experiences possible outside of sitting on the sidelines: She's going to the White House to watch with President Barack Obama!.

Elizabeth Hurley's Parrot Calls Her 'Mama'

Elizabeth Hurley’s pet parrot is quite the character. Ping Pong, a Blue Fronted Amazonian, calls her "mama" and even tries to send emails!

Hurley wrote on her twitter page: “Naughty Ping Pong gave me a hard nip this morning & then put her head on one side & said 'Hello mama'. Cunning little beast.”

It seems the parrot, a breed of bird that is capable of mimicking human speech, has a naughty streak and has even been trying to take control of the 45-year-old beauty’s computer.

Earlier this week, she tweeted: “Ping Pong not helping much - she's sitting on my laptop, trying to send emails. Yes, she's taking over. Still a bit scared of her.”

As well as saying “hello mama”, Ping Pong has mastered some other phrases and even wolf whistles at the actress.

In another post on the micro-blogging website, Hurley - who has an eight-year-old son Damian from her brief romance with Steve Bing - added: “Still haven't had any parrot screeches and squawks, but lots of beautifully enunciated 'hellos' and some saucy wolf whistles.”

Britney's seventh full-length studio album, Femme Fatale is due out March 15th, and the new cover was lifeted from the same photo shoot that produced the cover for the "Hold It Against Me" single. Brit looks disheveled and sexy in the high-gloss image.

Carey Mulligan May Have a New Boyfriend

Carey Mulligan brought an end to her 15-month relationship with Shia LaBeouf in October, but she's moving on, and now it's being reported that she's enjoyed several romantic dates with Eddie Redmayne from The Other Boelyn Girl.

The pair were spotted having lunch at New York’s Little Doms restaurant over the weekend and later strolled hand-in-hand on a walk.
